CST Wound Care, LLC
This Division provides cutting-edge technologies to speed the closure of acute and chronic wounds, such as burns, trauma, diabetic leg ulcers, bedsores, etc.

China’s State Food & Drug Administration (“SFDA”) has already approved the Company’s wound closure technology, which is called American Suction Wound Closure Therapy (“SWCT”). The components of this technology, which the Company is now selling in China, are:

(1) CST’s proprietary suction pump, which applies suction to a wound – at a negative pressure that can be very finely adjusted, based on the doctor’s prescription. Click on this link, The Pump: Photographs and Poster, to see what CST’s highly-specialized suction pump looks like.

(2) CST’s specialized dressings, which are placed in the wound and are covered over by a transparent adhesive membrane to make a vacuum seal. Click on this link, Photographs Showing How the SWCT Dressing Is Applied, to see a series of step-by-step photographs demonstrating how to apply the SWCT dressing.

Mechanisms of Action: Click on this link to see a description of the various ways in which Suction Wound Closure Therapy helps to speed the closing of wounds.

CST’s Presentation to the Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China: In May 2004, Professor John K. Tse, who is CST’s Chairman, and Dr. Richard M. Carlton, M.D., who is CST’s President and Chief Executive Officer, had the great honor of being invited by Minister Wang Longde, M.D. to make a presentation on Suction Wound Closure Therapy, at the Ministry of Health. The audience included a number of prominent Chinese experts, including Professor Sun Yong-Hua, M.D., President of the Burn Society of the Chinese Medical Association. CST’s Clinical Demonstration at Peking University Medical Center’s Number One Hospital: In September 2004, at the kind invitation of Professor Sun Yong-Hua, M.D., CST demonstrated its Suction Wound Closure Technology at Peking University Medical Center’s Number One Hospital, on patients who had wounds that were unable to heal. Chinese Surgeons Trained in CST’s Exchange Program on SWCT: After the successful demonstration of CST’s SWCT technology in Beijing, CST set up an exchange program in which several surgeons from the Peoples’ Republic of China were invited to the U.S. for extensive training in the theory and practice of Suction Wound Closure Therapy. click on the link to see photographs of some of these doctors receiving a Certificate of Training in Suction Wound Closure Therapy.

Catastrophic Wounds Treated by Chinese Surgeons, in China, Using SWCT: When the superb Chinese surgeons who CST had trained then returned home to China, they immediately using CST’s SWCT equipment on patients with horrendous wounds that were not healing. The SWCT equipment not only enabled the surgeons to close these terrible wounds and thus prevent amputations, but the equipment also prevented the deaths (from infection) that would certainly have eventually resulted from some of these catastrophic wounds, if they had not been closed over. Click on the link to see photographs of some of these cases.

CST’s Textbook on Wound Care, with Preface Written by Minister Wang Longde: Back in 2004, with the encouragement of Professor Sun Yong-Hua, M.D., CST asked a number of leading wound care experts in the U.S. to put together a textbook on wound care in general, and on Suction Wound Closure Therapy in particular. This book, entitled AMERICAN SUCTION WOUND CLOSURE THERAPY AND ADVANCED WOUND HEALING, was translated by China’s Institute for Science and Technology and was published (in 2005) by Peking University Health Science Center and CST Technology Group, LLC. It is the first comprehensive textbook published in the Chinese language on the modern discipline of wound care. Click on the link to see the textbook’s cover.

Chinese Journal of Injury Repair and Wound Healing: CST is proud to be the main sponsor of China’s very first journal dedicated to the subject of wound care. Click on the link to see the advertisement that CST placed in the first issue of the journal.

CST Wound Care, LLC is doing business in China through its wholly-owned affiliate, Beijing CST Kang Yi Technology, Limited.
